Norway's need for increased renewables production remains a constant inspite of challenging market situation and political change domestically and at an EU/European level. On- and offshore wind power will be key if Norway is to navigate its energy transition successfully.  

The Finance Seminar is back in the traditional wintery conditions at Lysebu to help you meet key players, learn about commercial developments and navigate the policy landscape. Topics covered include trends in greenfield development onshore, changes in host municipalities attitudes towards wind, business models for offshore wind power as well as the challenging questions of rising costs and visibility on future offshore rounds.  

As usual the audience will be a mix of national and international players, authorities, industry experts and other stakeholders. 

Main aims:

  • Reinvigorate enthusiasm for investments and business partnerships within the Norwegian on- and offshore wind sector 

  • Renewables Norway's and key partners' / sponsors' role as key facilitators for dialogue and match making  between the financial and renewables sector  

  • Shedding light on business models and partnership models – what kind of relationships will be formed? Who are the main players on the project side? What kind of financing sources / investors will be active?  

  • Bringing old and new players together ensuring that the "family" so new players on both sides are present, especially old and new foreign investors.
